Traditionally made Tapioca chips provide a healthy snack alternative and are so much healthier than any commercial product which contains high amounts of sodium, sugar and fat. Tapioca starch contains no fat or cholesterol, which makes it a healthy choice for those watching their dietary cholesterol and saturated fat intake. Tapioca is also very low in sodium.
We are currently in the midst of a major change in what people eat and in the way they eat because traditional eating has been related to positive health outcomes and sustainability.

To celebrate this sentiment and keep our traditional way of cooking alive, our artisanal Tapioca chips are handmade using seasonal raw Tapioca, chilli and wood pressed coconut oil. All the ingredients are ethically sourced from local farmers in Palakkad, Kerala.

The Tapioca is skinned and sliced into thin slices and then deep fried in a traditional chulha. During deep frying, little bit of water mixed with salt is added over the slices in the oil to make them salty. Thereafter red chilli and curry leaves are added for the final punch. Traditionally, coconut oil is used for deep-frying the chips, which will give a pleasant aroma while eating and also makes them a healthier option to eat.

Handmade in small batches, our chips have no preservatives, no artificial flavour or color added.
Enjoy them with a cup of steaming chai or coffee or just by themselves.
